Electronic touch pad not working on my oven

It was working fine last night but when I woke up this morning the display has 3 vertical lines and none of the electronic touch pads work. The burners on top of the stove still work.

    We pulled the stove out and unpluged and plugged it back in and it reset itself. This we tried before I received your response so you were completely right by suggesting turning the breaker off.

What is the model number and how old is the range ?

Try turning the breaker off for 10 minutes and then on again after this allotted time.
This may reset the system.

Touch pad is not working, says enter in time and none of the buttons work. I have unplugged it and then plugged it back in nothing changed. Worked last night at dinner, went to bed, didn't work to defrost...
Had a few of these happen on this brans and model. All had to have new touchpads fitted. If you are handy it is a matter of opening case and unplugging and replugging and tightening a few screws. Cost about $110 for new pad.

My touch pad worked fine last night, but now it doesn't! Help!
well, first you should see if it needs charging. Then turn on the ds and touch the little ds on the bottom of the screen. Go to the calibrate or the thing that is on the right side of the person. Try thr test and dont stop it until its over. Try touching the screen again but if that doesnt work call nintendo which the number is in the manual or find it at www.nintendo.com. See if that works.

My oven display is beeping and blinking 'PBR' on the display. What does that mean?
I had this same problem last night.. I have been having problems with the oven shutting off on preheat.. That sort of stopped. Last night lost power to the house. When it returned the oven was beeping and flashing PBR. I turned off the breaker for a few mins. last night and it returned. It was bugging me so much that turned it off the whole night. Woke up this morning turned the breaker back on and it stopped. I don't think this is the total solution. I am thinking that eventually I am going to have to replace power board in this oven. Hope it works!

Have you unplugged the power cord to the LCD? Let it sit for a minute, then try it. ALWAYS buy a UPS and plug any computer devices into it. Doesn't have to be big, a $50 unit will protect it from dangerous voltage surges.

How do I unlock my lg electric oven that is on ''oven lockout''
LG had a recall awhile back because the control panel touch control switch was right over the oven vent (on the right side) and use of the oven made it randomly cycle lock/unlock+ ding all night long for weeks.
Throwing the breaker off for the night was the only recourse, besides having LG replace the control panel.

I found that it would eventually fix itself (!), but come back at some point here and there, and then disappear weeks later.

Display doesn't work, but oven works
First turn the electricity off by locating the breaker to the oven and turn it off. Now wait for an hour or so and turn the breaker back on, if the display turned back on, you need a control board (other manufatures call it a clock, PCB or ECC but it's the main elctronic board with the diaplay built in). If it didn't come back on, turn the power off again and make sure all the wire harness's going to the board are connected good. Turn the power back on and it the display still doesn;t come back on you need to replace the main electronic control board. By the way double check the model number and brand because it might be wrong. Please post back.
