LG LCD Flat screen 32 screen blank red light blinking cable on

LCD Flat Screen HDTV ready 32"

Was watching tv and screen shut down and red light blinked on and off. Cable box was on.

    LG 32LX1D- It was working fine the night before but when I turned it on the next morning the power light would briefly flash green and then turn pff. If it is going to be a few hundred to fix, i am not sure it is worth it. Maybe we could do it ourselves

    I have a 32" LG flat screen tv, however it does not actually have an on/off button on it to switch it off it just goes to standby. Should i un plug the tv at the mains every time i turn it off or is it ok to leave it on standby all the time??

The Lg lcd was srtruck by a remote and now looks like a small crak on the inside towards the bottom right hand corner and there is no picture but audio does work

I don't know if I replied correctly. We replaced the Power Supply Module ourselves. It cost us $141. shipping included. You saved us Thousands!

Bad caps in the power supply. Replace all bad cap or replace Power Supply Module. If you choose to try and fix it yourself yourself will need a ESR Meter to check the caps in circuit. Let me know if this helps.

The tv power supply board it is shorted and dead.That the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shojimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement.

3 year old 42in LG LCD TV scrren went blank
You will either have a fault with the inverter board which drives the backlights or a faulty backlight in the screen. If the problem is a backlight then a replacement screen is the only cure. One or the other is breaking down after it has been opn for a certain period of time, have an engineer call out & check with a tester if it is a screen problem.
