Fisher Paykel GWL10US won't spin

I have a Fisher Paykel GWL10US. Today it stopped on the spin cycle and didn't fully drain (about inch or so of water left).

If I manually put it in spin cycle the drain pump spins forwards and backwards. So does the agitator. Water just seems to sit there and foam up, but doesn't drain.

Here is what I have done:

Took out wash tub to see if drain was clear. Took off drain housing. Did find a piece of chewed up plastic in the drain housing. Doesn't seem to go to anything from the washer.

Took off pump motor to make sure it spun freely. It does.

Took off diverter valve to see if it is stuck. It is in drain mode with the power off. Can push the valve with my finger to open and close.

Snaked out the drain hose.

Put machine in diagnostic mode.
- Water valve test. Fine.
- Out of balance and lid switch test. Fine
- Drain pump test. Same as above. Pump spins back and forth and just seems to foam up water.
- Detailed Fault Codes: none.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

F&P washer lights on and beeps

Clogged pump stopped up drain. If the washer does not think all water was pumped out in 8 minutes then it shuts down. Slow drain is my first inclination.

I have a gwl10us

First check to see if water flow is good at your wall faucet, coming into machine.

Then check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean (ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (maximum 7 inches). Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Fisher & Paykel GWL10 US won't spin

If the machine still has water in it, the drain pump is jammed or there may be an obstrution in one of the hoses. It is most likely the drain pump. Switch off the machine at the wall and unplug it. Tilt machine against a wall and look underneath. On the right you will see the drain pump. It looks upside down. Unplug the wiring harness to the pump and remove pump by turning it clockwise while at the same time releasing the little white clip that holds the pump in place. Clean thoroughly and replace pump.
