Problem when scanning with DP 8045

For most of the Panasonic DP-8000 series multi-function printers, a J42 error indicates a paper jam in the paper exit/fuser area. I hope this helps. If the error persists, there may be a damaged sensor inside the printer. That is not something I can't help you solve.

What i have seen is the big white gear behind the flywheel is broken where the gear mates with the pin on the shaft.

Drivers for that model of panasonic can be found on driverupdate us. Take a look. cheers

try uninstalling printer driver then reinstalling it if this doesn't work then contact adobe support see if they have a patch for this problem

well if you really needed a pdf printing concern, you may add an option which is Multi Page Description Language Controller Module. the post script printing language will be activated and you won't have to wait for the computer to process the pdf document on a gdi format (microsoft). what's more is that your mac computer can also directly print to the dp-8045.

sorry but our panasonic dp-8035 is only black&white document scanner.

Hello, these machines needs to be connected to your network and correctly configured in order to scan. Once that is done you need to install a program called Panasonic Communications Utility which can be downloaded from www.panasonic.net. When the program is installed on your pc a blue tray will appear on your taskbar next to the time. Click on the tray and enter a name for the panasonic machine to identify you. Now go to the DP-3030 and press SCAN, scroll down with the arrow key until you see your name, set the document you want to scan and press START. A popup display should appear on your pc notifying you of the scan. If your name does not show switch the DP-3030 off and back on again and wait a minute or 2 for the machine to find your name.

here's how to add contact to the address book:

1. press FUNCTION key
2. select FAX/EMAIL SETTINGS icon
3. select ADDRESS BOOK
4. select ADD EMAIL ADDRESS
5. input your email address
6. input your name
7. select ok
8. input a key name
9. you can choose if you want to add it to favorites or not
10. press stop key to return to idle state

that's it :)

it means that your finisher staple motor jammed. try to remove the staple cartridge and anything that might make the staple not to move.
