The feed dog button is not working on my machine. It will drop it sometimes but will not raise it back up.
I just fixed this problem on my machine. I removed the needle plate to get a good look under there. There seems to be a little black peg thingy and a plastic piece under where its supposed to sit. Mine was not sitting in that plastic piece. I had to get my husband to help me lift the dogs manually while I used an allen wrench to push the peg back into the proper position. I gave it a few test runs and the machine seems to be working great now. But I have not tried to move the dog feed button back and forth yet. I really don't want to have to pull it all apart again if it slips out of position again.
Then your feed dog button is either come loose or is broken, it needs to be
serviced

I dropped my feed dogs and when I pushed the button to bring them back up, it wouldn't work. I did discover that when you put the button back to the up position and start sewing, the dogs come back up automatically.

I do have the very same problem! I took my bobbin case out and took a good look at it, turns out right below the plastic hook part, the plastic was cracked off (probably due to thread jamming). Turns out I need a new internal bobbin case, which range in price from $35-$50 from what I researched. I had no luck with local sewing centers on finding the part.
That may (or not) be your issue as well. Good luck, and I hope this your issue is simple fix. A little tune up after might be needed, HAPPY SEWING!! ~Kelly J~

that the feed dog lever is in the up position. When the lever is in the
down position, the feed dogs will show on the top if there is no
pressure on them at all. Make sure that the machine makes one complete
cycle to check this. Just throwing the switch does not make them come
to the surface.
If this does not work, then the feed gear is broken and you will need to take it to a mechanic.
