Question about Brother PE770 Computerized Sewing Machine
My machine made a funny sound and is now jammed up - the wheel wont turn, and I think there is thread stuck under where the bobbin winds - how do I get in there?
If the needle broke into where the bobbin area is
you may have to try pulling the fabric out of the bobbin area or cutting the fabric loose
the machine needs to be serviced because the jam may have put it out of time

SOURCE: thread bunching
I discovered that when the thread is knotting up on the underside of the material that it is usually the threading on top and has nothing to do with the bobbin.

Im not sure if this will help but thought I would pass it along. My Pfaff 6122 tells me to check bobbin for thread unrolling clockwise before you place it back in the machine. I had mine turned to un roll counter clockwise, this is wrong, the bobbin will fall out when you pull on the thread while you are holding it in your hand. You may just keep putting it in backwards. Hope this works for you. J.R.
