We have a Whirlpool Duet front load. Today water overflowed from the dispenser. There are no error codes showing. Flushed and water drains slowly into machine now. Any ideas.

Check the holes of the dispenser, could be clogged with soap and liquid detergent. check the hose where the dispenser flows to the drum, it could be clogged also. open the door, trace the dispenser hose that is attached to the drum or to the big rubber gasket at the front. check and see if there is dirt accumulation or soap clogging the hole.

tnx 4 using fixya,

I solved my problem. I tried the empty load with hot water and it didn´t work. I removed the soap dispenser and I didn´t see anything. I was determined not to pay someone to fix it. I prayed to god to help me. I removed the rubber seal by pulling from the lower part. I traced the tube from te soap dispenser, and then from the inside I checked to see if there was anything. I FOUND some underwear stuck in the hole. Now I only need another person, my husband is traveling, to help me put the rubber seal because you need 4 hands to stretch it.

Unreal. Same problem, same fix!!! A 14 inch long sock in a four inch hose. How the hell it got in there I'll never know!!!! The door seal is easier to put on it you use pliers to unhook the little spring, install the seal, then hook the spring back on. Thanx for the help!!!!!!

Same problem. Removed the top, and the front-top panel, then the dispenser assembly. Remove a sock stuck between the dispenser hose and the drum.

I have a Whirlpool duet and water is over flowing and coming out the soap drawer. I have tried flushing out the opening with a hose and it still over flows. Any suggestions?

Hi, W/D here.

Remove the dispenser tray. Clean the overflow caps on the underside of the dispenser, and clean the tubes from the dispenser to the hose to the drum. In the more serious clogs, you may need to clean the hose to the drum.

Best regards, --W/D--

I have an f27 error on my washing machine. Can you explain to me where the pressure switch is? I have the front, back, and top off of the machine.

Error code f27 is OVERFLOW CONDITION.----------
If the overflow contact on the pressure switch is closed for more than 60 seconds, an Overflow Condition occurs. In an overflow condition, the door remains locked and the drain pump runs constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the display is cleared. Turn off hot and cold water faucets and unplug the unit before servicing.----------
Check:----------
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, water inlet value, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Check for drain pump failure.
6. Check the inlet valve for proper shut off.
7. Check the pressure switch for proper operation.
----------- This should help.Thank you.

Is showing a flashing f09

Hello Sir, If the Washer is turning on itself then it is a CU Problem. It must be tripped or not functioning properly.
And about the F09 error. This error comes when the washer has a water overflow. This can be removed by tilting the Machine forward by making a point opened so that the excess water flows out. This overflow is caused when the water is blocked by any other object. This overflow is surely corroding the CU and making the machine to turn on by itself.
Kindly call a technician from Whirlpool to get the internal parts checked.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

Fabric Softener dispenser

thats quite normal, espessially if you do not use the fabric softener, the compartment empties through an overflow siphon action, so if there eis nothing in the compartment the area is flooded but cannot cause siphon action, not an issue at all
