TE 12 the hammer not work

With hammer drills, there are usually 3 positions for operation.

Position 1 - Drill only - drill rotates

Position 2 - Hammer and Drill - Drill rotates and hammers

Position 3 - Hammer only - hammer action

It is important to read the instructions to activate the part to select position 1, 2 or 3.

Sometimes, it is easy to move from position 1 to position 2. Sometimes it is easy to move from position 2 to position 3.
Sometimes it is difficult to move from position 2 to position 3.

When it is difficult to move from position 2 to position 3, you may need to rotate the chuck a little way before turning it to position 3.

Hammeraction cuts out

when hammering there is only medium pressure on the unit
you let the unit do the chiselling as any pressure and the unit cannot work as it requires for it to be allowed to rebound a it

Maintenance on a bosch pbh 2200 re sds, do i need to put oil or grease anywere in the drill?

The Bosch hammers all use a special grease for the hammering mechanisms. You should be able to buy a small tube similar to the size of a toothpaste tube, from a Bosch dealer or online. The part number is 1615430014. Here is what it looks like.

Do all sds drills have chisel function?

The SDS designation relates more to the type of chuck on the tool for the bits than to the tool/drill itself. There are both chisels and drill bits with SDS-Plus and SDS-Max shanks, SDS-Max being the the larger of the two. As far as the tools go: Demolition hammers will only hammer and can only use pointed chisels, scaling chisels, scrapers, etc, not anything like a drill bit that requires spinning to work. Rotary hammers can hammer and rotate the bits. Rotary hammers have a selector switch with two or three positions; one for hammer only for the above demolition bits, one for rotary hammer for use with carbite tipped drill bits, and some have a position for rotation only. The rotary hammer is a more versitile tool but more expensive because of extra workings inside.

I can't remove the chuck bit from my hammer drill PBH 2000 re

This is normally easy procedure, just press chuck inward and turn clockwise, then retrieve.

This is same way as you will insert/remove your drill from the chuck.

If this method is unsuccessfull, plese rotate knob (close to chuck) anticlockwise till you go to position between chiseling and driling, as this is not lockable position, you need to hold knob in one hand and manipulate chuck with other hand.

This method is described in more detail in manual which comes with hammer-drill.

Hope this solve your problem, this is excellent tool and I always love to use it. Will handle drill up to 20mm in concrete and not even much vibration.

Hammer action power there but weak

It is hard to understand what you are asking, however I have found that with the SDS drills one does NOT want to crowd them but just let the tool work with light pressure...

Seems it doesn't hammer hard enough. Looking for diagram and a place to get parts. Thanks

piston inside tube has a o-ring on it, these wear over time.. take apart replace piston o ring. Make sure to clean out all grease from inner tube and regrease all these parts when putting back together. should hammer better.
