Car radio cd player - DEH-405 unable to tune radio accurately

Mosfet 50wx4 indicates a feature of the Pioneer car radio. It isn't a model number. One Pioneer car radio/CD player with this feature is the DEH-1500. On this model, you need to turn off the unit to set the clock. Press and hold the Source button (to the left of the preset tuning buttons) until the device turns off. Press Audio (upper right corner) repeatedly until the clock appears in the display. Use the arrow keys (Skip/Back or Left/Right) on the right hand side of the radio to select a segment of the time to adjust. Use the Up/Down arrows to set the current time. Repeat choosing the time segment and adjusting the time until both the hour and minutes are correct. Press Band or press and hold the Audio button to exit the clock setting mode.

You need a 12 volt battery connection at the stereo.

Skipping all the technical stuff, each FM broadcast channel is 0.2 MHz wide and starts on an even number. The lowest channel for example is, 87.8MHz - 88.0MHz. Radios will tune to the center channel, ie 87.9 MHz. Any FM station in the United States is always an odd number, therefore radios in the US will never tune to an even number

You might have it on mute.

Could have the speakers wired up wrong.

tune it to the radio station that you desire then press the button that you desire for it to be recorded on for about three seconds.

Scroll to the station then press and hold the preset button you want it to goto.

The solution for setting the radio station on a Pioneer DEH P2000, is to tune the station you want programmed and hold down the desided channel number until the program number appears on the display.

then what is your problem? tuning proibem? well i guess based on my experianced poineer car stereo were not repairable unless theres an available parts... the problem is might be in the IC tuner.... you need to contact for an service technician to repair in this kind of matter...gud luck!
