Question about Frigidaire Kitchen Ranges
I have an electric range with smooth cooktop. I didn't turn off the oven after cooking (left it on at 350 for 1 hr. with nothing inside the oven) and saw a bright flash and heard a loud noise coming from the stove. The code F11 was shown up on the oven control. I may have left a piece of aluminum foil on the cooktop as well. The oven seems to be working with no apparent harm, but I was unable to find out what the code F11 means. Any answer would be welcome. Kathleen
F11 error code means there is a problem with the Control panel. Could be melted wiring, etc, since you left the oven standing. However, you can try unplugging the device from the power socket for about 5 minutes and reconnect. If the error goes away, then well and good; if not, you may have to replace the panel control.
