Most likely the issue is bad capacitors. You need to check for bad 1000uf 16v caps on the dm board and the fmt board. Be sure to checked surface mount fuses on DM and FMT board after you replace the capacitors.

Not to easy of a job due to how much dis-assembly needs to be done. Instructions can be found online on how to do this.

Blinking light with no picture or sound

If you have a green blinking light,
Most likely issue is with bad capacitors on the DM an FMT boards.

1) Look for bad 1000uf 16v caps on the dm board and the fmt board.

2) checked surface mount fuses (small white boxes) on DM and FMT board

Look carefully for other bad capacitors in the general area.

Start here and let me know the results.

Note, there is a lot of disassembly to get to these boards. Not a fun project.

Ws-55511 DM 5volts draged down blinking led

Hello,

Did you check the caps on the DM board? They usually go bad after a period of time. Remove the DM board and the metallic cover and there should be 4 to 7 capacitors (There are different revisions of the DM board). Check these caps also, replace if needed.

Thank you,

Blue Flickering Screen - Which Repair Kit?

yes they provide a free service manual with their kits. the symptom of the blue screen could either be the signal or the FMT as they can both cause those symptoms, My professional guess would be the signal board as the FMT will cause distortion lines across the screen with no picture.

The DM board is the one with the digital connectors on the back panel. If you already have it appart, you may as well check the caps on all of the boards. The caps that go bad are typically Jamicon brand caps in 1000 uF and 330 uF values. There are also a couple of 3300 uF caps in the PS that cause problems.

WD-52525

You will need the service manual to do this repair. I happen to have it, as this site was suppose to put in the pictures and things to explain that a lot of TV sets are still using this DM board, but they are building them differently. Just follow the directions in the service manual on how to remove the DM board and then follow the directions in the article on repairing the DM board. I will need your e-mail address to forward this service manual to you. Good Luck

WD-52725 Timer light is blinking and will not stop.

This part will cost you about 650 to 800 bucks my friend. if you have any soldering skills, and can follow directions, I posted a DM board fix. it may just be four small capacitors. Now this set that was used in the fix is not exactly like all the other Mitsubishi TV sets that still have a DM board, but if you can locate the DM board, follow the rest of the repair. if you do not know how to solder, do not take a chance, as this part is way too expensive to be experimenting around with. Get the Capcitors(there is a link there too for the capacitors)and take the DM board to a service shop, as this should not cost you a lot to have a pro do this for you. The DM board fix is located here: http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair Good luck
