Shv55mo3gb/40- built in - 4 yrs old

Hi, my dishwasher is not washing dishes properly. its leaving food residue and surf after wash,ealier when i used to wash dishes they used to be wel dried up but now even after washing they are still wet. We put salt in it 2 months ago and can still see the salt left in it. pls advise

    Some dishes are not getting cleaned some of the time. A residue appears on the top rack glasses.

Dishes and glasses are not coming out clean even inside of dishwasher has some residue left on it after washing

Most dishwashers have a soil separator which separates the soil from the water while it's washing. When a wash cycle is over a valve opens in the separator to allow the soil to go down the drain. If it's not working properly the washer will leave a film or food particles on the dishes.
Post your model number and I'll try to find a diagram which shows you your parts.
