Double check to be sure your set has a BA17F8F01 power board, you can order a new replacement board from Shotjimmy as well for a bout $45 ...Good luck!!

Find the manual for your TV. Find how to reset the TV. There may have been a power surge that is not letting the HDMI ports work. A hard reset should work. If you can't find how to do this, unplugging it, and waiting a minute, then plugging back in could be an easy fix.

does the digital television come up on the screen for a second then it goes black? If so its usually the inverter which has the issue.

YOU NEED EITHER A TV CARD OR HDMI CARD INSTALLED IN THE LAPTOP. BUT MOST ALSO HAVE A 15 PIN MONITOR CONNECTOR INSTALLED ON THE TV AND LAPTOPS USUALLY HAVE THAT JUST BUY A MONITOR CORD

Check the power supply regulator board to your tV. It might be replaced.
