When it cuts off, does it act like someone just hit the stop button or do you actually have to reset the clock as if it got unplugged?
If it's the first one, then it's probably a bad door switch or door switch mount, or possibly a bad connection on the circuit board or a failing circuit board relay.
If you wiggle the door up and down and in and out very slightly, does it fail? If so, this is more eveidence pointing to the door switch or door switch mounts.
If it actually resets so you have to set the clock again, then you are losing power somewhere. This could be caused by a bad connection at the fuse holder, at the magnetron or other thermostat / thermal cutout, or on the circuit board.
If you or a friend decide to look into it, we have critical safety information, info on door switch diagnosis and replacement, and
disassembly information at our site, linked here on Fixya: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

A microwave can be dead for many reasons.
If it goes dead for a while during or after cooking then comes back on, the magnetron is probably overheating and causing the magnetron thermostat to open. Then when it cools, it closes the circuit and allows power through again.
If it's intermittent or random, it may be a bad connection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder.
If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.
If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.
If it goes dead or blows the breaker when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.
If the fuse is good, it may be an open thermostat or thermal cutout on or near the magnetron or on top of the cavity / body of the oven.

It sounds like a shorted high voltage capacitor, a fairly cheap fix. But if it's good, I would suspect the high voltage transformer.
Here are some links you or a friend can use for test help, but read the safety warnings first:

There
should be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

SOURCE: fuse keeps blowing.
couple questions -
what else is on the circuit,
and what current does the oven need
there are whirlpool over-range models with
1200watts of microwave,
1500watts of convection power, a
60watt bulb and a
375watt fan
over 15amps -20amp circuit needed
if you inadvertantly replaced a higher current fuse with a 15amp fuse, it will blow every time.
the install guide http://www.whirlpool.com/assets/pdfs/product/ZINSTALL/8206589.pdf reccommends 20amp
not a solution, something to check,
