If my htc touch is powered off for a while, when I try to power on, it asks for pin but then, it only vibrates and the touch screen freezes. I try to restart it, take out the battery, everything I remember, and nothing, the vibration goes on.
The only way I can manage to make my htc working again is connecting it to the power supply.Once connected, the vibration stops and the screen works again.
I just bought it and I'm very disappointed with this. What can I do to solve the problem?

The instruction given in the user's guide are WRONG, which infuriated me. To perform a hard reset, hold down the power button and turn the phone off. Then, while holding volume down and the center button, turn the phone back on. It will give you the hard reset prompt immediately. Follow the instructions. I hope I saved you the stress I went through.

The '********" is a little motor that spins with an offset weight. It sounds like the motor is stuck.
