Somethimes the drivers are not correctly loaded, you should try to go to de WAIO homepage and download the drivers...

You might not have installed a driver for your sony vaio loptop. If you have a driver installation disk, re-install your loptop's drivers. you don't have the disk try to buy a driver magician software that will detect any missing drivers that your loptop needs. Driver magician will automatically download what drivers that your computer needs, all you got to do is install it . If this does not work, you'll need to buy an external usb mini amplifier that you can plu your speakers with. If this shoulp happen to work well, then you have a problem with you built in amplifier. There is a specific set of driver you have to install for your computer, Vaio laptops use the ACPI fucnction to control hardware access like volume / brightness control etc
You need the ACPI driver installed for Fn key to work
Install Sony Notebook Control Driver for windows vista
Install Sony Utils.dll
Install Sony Shared Library
same for your sd card reader just reinstall the drivers

sony only supports the factory shipped os drivers you will have to find the drivers for 7 elsewhere or reinstall your factory os

Ur right about it! When changing ur OS, u have to get new drivers for ur mo board and utilities( Audio, video, Network Lan, USB, and upgraded Bios).

Better go to Sony Vaio and download the drivers for the new OS!

Probably, its because the printer drivers are missing.
You need to have drivers for it.

Download these drivers and install on your sony vaio laptop.
