If you call Dacor they will talk you through the solution but you have to have another person ready to turn the breaker off while someone is pushing a button. I have contacted them and am trying to get the instructions emailed.
Dacor Toll free: 800-793-0093 have model # ready

There have been some occurrences where the Time readout has been in a 24 hour
Military Time Format. In addition, there are also instances where the clock is set for a 50
HZ operational mode causing the readout to gain time.
If either of these situations occur please perform the following to reset the ERC for proper
    operation:
Two persons are required the reset function. The first person should be at the power panel
(circuit breaker box) and the second person should be at the oven.
    1. Turn the circuit breaker for the oven.
    2. While the power is off, the person at the oven should press and hold the "Clock "
    button.
    3. The circuit breaker should then be turned on while the "Clock" button is still depressed.
Continue to hold the "Clock" button until a single digit number appears. You may then
    release the button.
    4. Using the "Time-Temp" arrow keys, adjust the number in the display to read the digit
    "8", and release button.
    5. After approximately 15 seconds, the time of day will appear.
    6. Set the clock to the correct time of day by following the instructions in the owner's
    manual.
The oven will now function properly.

I have a Dacor ERD48SCH/NG oven/range. Accidentally changed the clock time to military (24-hour) time, and now can't figure out how to change it back. How do I change back to regular 12-hr time?

Step 1 Locate the "Clock" button on the display. The display is located above the oven door. It clearly shows the time and has settings for temperature, time and cooking.
Step 2 Press and hold the "Clock" button until the time starts to blink.
Step 3 Set the time with the number pad. Ignore the colons and enter the number straight through. For example, if the current time is 10:08, just type 1-0-0-8.
Step 4 Set AM and PM by pressing the "#" button. Press "Start" to finish.

How do i change from military time on a insta-set alarm model 40009?

This may or may not work. The 40009 and 40010 are almost identical. The 40009 doesn't mention military time and the 40010 does, so you might want to what the manual says. 40010 manual and 40009 manual. According the 40010 manual, is says:

Displaying the12/24 hour, Date, Month and Year:
Display the 12/24 hour by hold the "+" button for 2 seconds. To display the date, month and year by press the "-" button, the year appears and then if pressed again, the month and date (eg. “12 31” means Dec 31) appears.

So maybe that will do. I have a 40010, but my manual is different from the one on the website. Its DST button and not Alarm Set button to change the time. So maybe try holding down different buttons for a couple of second see if one lets you change it between 12 and 24 hour. Good luck, hope this helps.

Clock is stuck in military time & I can not get it to go back

The newer Dacor ER36D can by switched from standard 12 hour to 24 hour military time mode and back by holding the CLOCK SET button for 6 seconds. That may work on older models as well.

Military Time

Press the "function" button for a couple of seconds. The display will indicate 12hrs or 24hrs.
Use the minute or hour to change the setting for 12hrs and you'll have normal time again.
I hope this helps!

Rsd 30

I believe I followed the post by Rotu on11/11/06--remove the black grill surrounding the oven door latch (it's held on by 4 black phillips-head screws about 3" on either side of the latch). I had to use a flashlight to see into the space (there are a bunch of wires as I recall). In the middle several inches back you will see a small (about 3/8") red (mine had darkened) button. We used a screwdriver (be sure your circuit breaker is OFF) to reach it and push it down to reset. Replace the grill, turn on the breaker and you are good to go.
