Indicator lights on, no function, no fan, no lamp

Sometimes the lamp turns on for a few seconds without fan, green button turns red. Original lamp lasted less than 1800 hours. Was always used in low power mode. After lamp replacement projector functioned for a short time, lamp time never reset. Was serviced under warrantee after lamp replacement. I suspect time accumulation on counter prevents start. No menu item to reset lamp time.

Trying to replace lamp in HDTV and having trouble. Does not function correctly after putting in new bulb. Boots up and then visuals go black and the green power light keeps flashing. Help?

Panasonic DLP TV Bulbs

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

TY-LA1001 Timer reset

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

I have an Infocus SP 7200 projector that will turn on, fans run and the color wheel spins and the projection lamp blinks briefly on for a second but then straight away the color wheel winds down and the...

Color Wheel could cause this, it must spin exactly 9,000 rpm per second ,but so can having a bad ballast board it is what powers Lamp on, If you still have the old Lamp and your sure the Lamp was Bad then reinstall old lamp and see if their is an ark coming from Spark Gap on the Ballast Board,
If you see an ark then Ballast is OK.Heres another thing watch the Lamp Fan if it is defective Lamp will not power on, If the Lamp Fan stops when Lamp trys to firer, then replace the lamp Fan.

After a few seconds the lamp light began to blink red, its a panasonic pt-lb10svu, show no pic at all has a new lamp

Hi, Replacing the lamp in a Sharp LCD projector requires the lamp indicator to be reset. When the lamp needs to be replaced, the indicator becomes red. Resetting the counter for the lamp hours to zero will also reset the indicator to green.
  • Attach the power cord to the projector and plug it into an electrical outlet.
  • Step 2Locate the buttons on the top of the projector and simultaneously hold down the "Enter", "Menu" and "down arrow" buttons, then press the "Standby/On" button.
  • Step 3Continue holding all four buttons depressed until the lamp indicator light begins flashing green. The counter is now reset. Zero hours will now be displayed on the screen.

My SXRD 60" Sony LCD TV turns on. green light flashes about 6 times, then solid green. But just as screen starts to light up, turns off, solid green light turns red and blinks red four times, then stops. a...

Perhaps it needs the bulb, but there is also a good possibility that the lamp fan is getting clogged and shutting down the set. This is NOT the fan you see in the back, instead, it is above the lamp, and is a small blower-type fan, that tends to clog with dust. You CAN check this, when you open the lamp door, you can see the blower wheel, and if it is all dusty, it needs to be cleaned out--but do NOT just blow it out, or you might clog the engine!! It needs to be removed, and cleaned out of the set.

But first...if the blower is not too dirty...try another lamp.
