Are there replacement switches for inside the foot pedal?
Www.dtpss.com is a great source for foot pedals for all makes including Dictaphone transcribers, Olympus, Philips, and others.
It would be easier/cheaper to buy another foot pedal.
The older style had "leaf" switches in them and they are adjustable from below the foot control. There are 2 screws underneath each switch. Loosen up the one closer to the front of the pedal (just a little) and tighten the one in the back the same amount. This will raise the angle of the switch to make it more sensitive (lighter pressure to activate).
