Not sure why this may be happening but you can buy universal USB chargers so that you can charge the MP3 without connecting it to a PC (Just to check it is actually rechargeable. The more things are charged and discharged the less life they have. If it is opld it may just be a little tired). They only cost about £3.99 from online shops (Some with free P&P). Thay are also very low wattage so are cheap to use. They can also be used as a power supply if you are using the unit at home. Maybe this will do the trick to get round the problem.

There are two ways: since Motorola phones use mini-usb, you can connect it directly to your pc via a mini-usb cable- it should charge that way. The other way is to get a new motorola branded charger- they run about 10-15 dollars at your local big-box retailer. If it still does not charge with known-good cable or known-good charger, then the hardware in the phone has faulted and you will need to go to your carrier and ask for a safety-related replacement (electrical issues = safety issues in my book!)

You can charge the DS lite via a USB cable. Simply connect to your PC or laptop and as long as you have a cable with a mini connector on one end this would work.

They are quite common for different devices like cameras so if you have one of these lying around thats a good way around it for you.

have you tried changing the charger or charging it through a computer. some chargers are too outdated for the ipod to charge!

no man u can"t....in all sony brands the mini usb is meant only for data transfer...so better you go for a an ac power adopter...mail me at [email protected]

These cameras can't be charged via the USB because there is no charger built into the camera. You will need to buy a new charger.

Mine froze on the blue screen when turned on. BSOD???
Plugged it into the USB on computer and it all came good.

i suppose u charge via USB? no need of software but i am not sure usb can handle the power for chrging the cam corder

Try a format, Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R
