F7D3302 v1 I just bought NETGEARS F7D3302 v1 router. Problem is, internet browsing is generally unstable and slow. Sometimes even google won't work. One of the biggest problems is Youtube, which only work sometimes (either the video starts and plays just fine, or it wont start at all). The thing is; spotify, skype, steam and wow works fine without problems. So does anyone know what the problem is, and how I can fix it?

First the speed has a relation with yout ISP not you router or modem, unles youre tranfers files on a network, home or office.
So for todays surfing the way you want you need a broadband connection of at least 2MBS or greater.

My Chromebook netbook won't connect to my home wifi

That is weird. Does the Chromebook see the wireless router? I just looked on Google's Chromebook website and it says that the Chromebook works with any security setting. What type of Wifi router do you have at home?
This is the Google page talking about Wifi connection issues.

I am using Linksys Wireless- N (wrt120) and my download speed seems to work great but when I browse the internet my pages won't load. Sometimes they will load very slowly. It seems like the connection

There may be competing wireless routers or networks nearby on the same band. Within the router's interface, try switching to a different band (2.4 Ghz vs. 5.0 Ghz) or use different radio channels. By default the router will attempt to do this automatically, but you may want to try adjusting them yourself and see what you get.

Slow browsing problem

Let me guess. You just tried to download the latest online video game and it is nearly taking you 3 hours when the download time itself says 40 minutes. Well, don't worry - there are many ways to speed up Internet or fix slow browsing problems. You can speed up your Internet by even half if you just make a few minor adjustments in your Browser options. There are multiple reasons for this happening such as Uncle Larry using the computer or other neighbors sharing your connection as well. To speed up Internet connection, you could try upgrading your modem or even adjusting your Internet settings too.
1.To get faster Internet, I would strongly look to your Internet service provider so you can upgrade. The best modem is 56.6 kb for recommendation. You always want to make sure you have the best quality you can from your Internet Service provider.
2.Make sure your connection isn't shared. By this, I mean setting a password protection on your connection. This way people from outside the area won't be able to tap into your Internet and pull directly from you. Some people are not aware of this, so it's always a good idea to look into the situation before you think something is wrong with your browsing speed.
3.If you want to fix slow browsing problems, try changing the telephone modem with DSL, ISDN, or satellite. With these, you will speed up Internet without any problem.
4.Try resizing your Internet cache to get faster Internet. Do this by clicking "tools" under "Internet Options". Go to the "General" tab and look for your browsing history. Click on "Settings". There should be something that says "Disk space storage". It's best to change it to 50 MB or less in order to speed up Internet connection.
I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

Why won't my browser allow me to use facebook? I've tried loading it with google chrome, internet explorer, & firefox. None of them work. When I try loading it in google chrome it gives me...

Hi, If this problem is still occurring for you and is only specific to Google Chrome, can you try clearing your browsing data to see if that helps? To clear your browsing data, follow these steps:

1) Click the Wrench menu in the upper right corner
2) Select "Tools"
3) Select 'Clear browsing data'
4) Ensure that check boxes for 'Clear browsing history' and 'Empty the cache' are selected
5) Click 'Clear browsing data'

I hope this helps. eibraz

Wireless network and computer freeze

Routers in general divide you internet connection across the amount of devices you have plugged into it, but not evenly. For example, computer A can be browsing a web page, and someone else can be playing games on Xbox live. Due to amount of traffic internet gaming creates, it can slow your internet connection tremendously depending on the speed of your connection (especially if you have the slowest broadband connections out there, 1.5mb and under).

However, the fact that you mentioned that it only happens with wireless devices, leads me to believe that it is a router issue. I would first begin by resetting your router to its factory defaults and retesting your internet after its been set up properly (linksys can walk you through this).

If that doesn't work, the next step would be to buy a new router.

Third, would be to upgrade your connection to a higher speed, if your provider allows for it, but this is unlikely that you will have to go to this resort.
