I have a new Windows 7 laptop and I need my RCA MP3 player software doesn't recognize Internet Explorer 9. Is there any RCA easyrip software that works with IE9?
Sync the device with your windows media player and erase all that garbage software RCA gave you it doesn't work. After you Sync it you should be able to add your music from your media player, pictures, and video file will work fine otherwise you have to move all your music files into the RCA software.

Connect the mp3 player to the computer and THEN try installing the Easy Rip software.

I know that sometimes certain USB ports don't give the information that the installer is looking for. Try a different USB port on the PC and see if that works. Make sure you have the latest version of easyRip from:

(AND make sure the device is in MSC mode)

did you first import media to your easy rip, if not that could be the problem. otherwise I a not sure what it could be but easy rip is not that great of a software, once you import the song and decide to move its location you have to import it again and duplicates remain on easy rip which is very annoying, but thats another issue. If you want you can also use windows media player to add music by syronize your MP3 with it. this could be alot simpler.

This model does not support playlists, but in the event they ever do supply an update with that fix (rumor has it they will!) then it will be located under the "Favorites" section in the mp3 player.
