I have a 1994 dodge ram 1500 with the infinity premium sound in it, the previous head unit i had a was a clarion and it work excellent. I installed the avh-p5700dvd and now i only get sound out of the front tweeters and some very faint sound out of the right rear. After checking my wiring many time i thought maybe i had a bad install plug so i removed the plugs from my clarion deck and installed to find i had the same problem. Since then i tried to reinstall my old deck and now its got the same problem. I put the factory cassette deck in and everything works fine. What can i do to resolve the problem? any help would be great. thanks

With the Infinity system you need to power up the factory amplifiers. This is done with the blue with a white stripe wire from the deck to the amp turn on lead from the factory harness. Not sure the color of the wire but that's most certainly your problem. If you have a factory to aftermarket wiring adapter it'll be the blue wire.

if your odometer is working and your speedometer not working they both get there signal form the one unit [transducer] so i would say that you have a internal fault in your instrument cluster [speedometer] you may be able to have it repaired if not you will have to replace the instrument cluster.regards agwbk

2004 Dodge Ram 1500, Infinity sound system. CD/AM/FM not working.
You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.

On a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9lt. generator fuse breaks.
ok let's try to help you on this one install a new fuse but remove the cable that runs from the generator to the battery if the fuse won't blow you have a bad alternator or the wire is making contact with the metal on the alternator if yo have a voltmeter you can check this cable using your meter in ohms and with the battery cable disconnected
