How do you remove the dryer from the stackable kit. I'm trying to take the dryer off the washer for repairs.

Yes, but you normally have to remove the case. In the case of a stackable unit, sometimes you can get in from the back panel.

If Aaron's wants your business so bad, they'll supply the stacking kit since they own the washer and dryer until the contract is paid.

Behind this drum on the upper left hand corner is the fuse


If it was tripped however the dryer would not operate as it is tied into the door switch.

Get top off then the controls off there then remove the front like this:


The heater is on the back side of the drum so it has to come on out

You have front felt glide kit that the drum rides on and also rear bearing in back also that drum rides in. One of these is the problem and they both have to be repaired by going thru the front not the back of the dryer.

stackables are convenient..small but work great.....youll find what you need at lowes or home depot

It has a stacking kit you need to purchase.

This is probably a model that has two access holes at the bottom front of the dryer -about 4-5" from each side- usually closed off with plastic discs. Just an inch up from the washing machine.  Pry out the plastic discs with a flat screwdriver and you should see a screw inside each of the two openings.  Remove the screws and you will be able to tip the dryer up and slide it back a few inches to detatch from the back.

Use two people to lift the dryer down as it is bulky but not too heavy.
