    Hey Carl

I am still having trouble setting up the speed dial buttons I am following the directions on page 157 in the link you sent me. I can't figure how to set it up so the co is in front of the phone number.
This is what I am trying to do:
    Program, co, 01, 2, 1818903.... store , program

I am getting a double beep after the "2" and it won't let me continue.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Lisa

KX-T7731 I messed up the co button. I read your following instructions, but I don't have a store buttom. What should I press to store on the KX-T7731? Please help.
(Remember that PROG 13 you pressed? First, press PROG and touch CO-1's button and make sure it still say CO-1. If not, dial 01 STORE and it will become CO-1 again.

Now, pick up the handset and hang it up so you clear the phone and press PROG 13 1 STORE PROG )

Easy when you have the manual :-)

Thanks for the rating. The button programming is in the manual. If you have a TA system, this manual will work

    www.microtelcommunications.com/linked/ta_om.pdf

Page 157 lists what you can do with the buttons and how to program them. The high spots are 0 for CO, 1 for EXT and 2 for speed dial. Because the PF buttons can only program speed dial, the "2" is assumed.

If you get confused don't hesitate to write back!

The right side buttons already have a "2" assumed, so you press the button and dial "9" plus your number then STORE. If you are using left side buttons (don't do it!!), then you dial 2 + 9 plus the number. You may also substitute 8x codes for 9 if you want to dial out on a specific line.

How do i program the programmable feature buttons on my panasonic kx-t7731

To what, for what? The buttons can be used to dial inside or outside numbers. They're programmed by pressing PROGRAM, the button, and dialing a sequence. If the call is outside, that sequence includes an "access code" usually "9" then STORE.

I have Panasonic kx-T7453 and one of the Outside lines was already connected to a station and while programming a One-Touch dialing ended causing the outside line to be disconnected to this station. How do...

In a TD system, the lines have 2 digit number 01-12 normally, up to 55 actually. So, if line 1 is missing, press PROGRAM dial 99 press the unprogrammed button and dial 0 01 STORE

Press PROGRAM or pick up the handset and drop it back down to exit programming.

I have a panasonic kx-t7731...having trouble setting the speed dial...any help would be appreciated. the users guide information doesn't seem to work. thank you!

A 7731 phone will function on any one of 18 or so different Panasonic system cabinets. Now, which "user guide" are you looking at? SYSTEM speed dial is set from the first extension or the maintanance console of the phone system. PERSONAL FEATURE (speed dials on the right side of the phone) are pretty much universally programmed by PROGRAM button, 9+ number STORE.

What do your instructions say?

How do I program a speed dial out side number on the buttons to the right?

What happens when you dial "9" on the intercom? If that gets you an outside line, then press PROGRAM, one of the buttons, and dial 9 plus your number and STORE.

Hmmm...Speed dial :-)

If you get a vacant line at "9", then you need to reprogram your 400 line access on your phone sytem to disable the vacant lines.

I have a Panasonic KX-T7731 phone. I would like an outside line to connect when the headset is picked up rather than the intercom.

A 7731 phone is compatible with about 18 different Panasonic phone sytem cabinets. Panasonic calls this line preference-outgoing and, in a TA series, which you're most likely to have, you press PROGRAM and dial 12 STORE for idle line, or 13 and a number from 1-8 for a specific line and STORE. 11 STORE puts it back to no preference.

Our company has a Panasonic kx-t7731 main line has no dail tone.

On that phone, press PROGRAM the button and dial 01 STORE.

Press program again to exit programming.

It's not likely you'll be needing the Group Log In/Out button.

Clear speed dial/one touch settings

There is no way to clear the settings you would have to re-program the correct setting. Did you program one touch speed dial on the line buttons? I do not see how programming a speed dial could effect accessing the CO lines unless you re-programmed the CO line buttons by mistake. If so, you would need to re-program those soft keys to line buttons. The manual you have may not cover this? The phone you have can work on a few different Panasonic phone systems. If you need a more detailed manual you will first need to know which Panasonic phone system you have. The phone part number WILL NOT help you determine which phone system you have. There is a main control unit somewhere (basement, utility closet, etc..)
