When i have it in playback mode it shows lens error 22 but when i change it to take a picture it shows lens error: 12 and 25 then shuts off
Well i have a SANYO camera and every time i cut it on it cuts on a little bit and i see it and it sais lens error: 308 what does that mean?

this happens when the clearance for the lense mechanism to open and close is being insufficient due to -small bits of sand or lint that may become get trapped in the mechanism which is commom while taking photos in open dust spaces.
It is advised to take the camera to a camera repair shop and have it disassembled and cleaned,if delayed the problem gets complicated

I have this same issue, my camera isn't very old, i got it last december as a matter of fact. And for some reason now, i turn it on for playback mode. and it shows "Lens Error: 22" but then i try to change it back to take a photo it shows Lens Error: 12 then Lens Error: 25. and shuts itself off.
I have a fully charged battery inside so i dont know why this is happening.
My camera is a pink sanyo vpc-e760
