Polaroid Pogo Printer - Pictbridge with Kodak EasyShare

I'm having trouble printing from my Kodak EasyShare M530 when I connect it via USB to my Polaroid Pogo printer. The Pictbridge logo should appear automatically but it doesn't - instead the screen goes black for a second or two and then returns to normal. I've tried everything and can't get any answers from Polaroid or Kodak, please can someone help!!

SOURCE: 2 Problems: 1) Unable to get printer to print from desktop; 2) Kodak SW won't install on laptop

Download and install the new software and printer firmware from kodak.com (link below - firmware and software is the same for all the 5000 units). Do not use the CD, and Uninstall all previous versions before installing the new software you download from the site.

SOURCE: Printer Kodak Easyshare 5300 Will not print black ink

Here are the things you will be asked to try if you call support. They may fix the problems as well. Taking the printhead out and putting it back in is the big helper.

Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
Right above where the black ink cartridge was, in the top left hand corner of the printhead, push up towards the ceiling and you should be able to push a button that releases the printhead.
Place the printhead right back into the printer and push straight back on the back wall.
You should hear a loud snap.
Replace the ink cartridges which should snap as well.
Close the printer.
After about a minute or so the printer will ask you to do a calibration.
Insert a paper and press start.
Scan the calibration sheet.
After that, in the menu, do a printhead clean.
(If this is a 5100, do it in the home center ->? in the top right ->Maintainence ->Clean Printhead.)
Do one basic and one deep.
Print a demo sheet to see if anything has changed.
If the picture looks better, continue to do cleans.
In the event that it does not, the printhead will need to be replaced and since the printer is still under warranty, Kodak specialists will try to overnight you a printhead.
The whole process is short and free.
The number for Kodak AiO Support is 1 800 421 6699.

SOURCE: Have just bought a Pogo printer.

If you are printing from a PC/Mac via Bluetooth, It won't accept anything other than Jpg's and also if the file name is too long (or if the file has multiple .'s in the name as I just found out)

Please remove the usb cable from the computer and printer and reconnect again and check it that is it printing properly. If it not working remove the printer from the computer then uninstall of the printer software and reinstall from the cd, when it ask to connect printer then only connect the printer after that it will print properly.

I purchased a new mobile on friday ..LG GN360 touch mobile. I can not get the mobile to recognise the polaroid pogo, even though i have used both sets of instructions from mobile & pogo. ie: switching...

I do not have the LG touch mobile, but experienced a similar problem with another device. It didn't work at al: I selected a photo, say print and sent it via bluetooth to the POGO, it didn't connect.
The solution that worked was: Not give a PRINT-command! Just SEND your picture to the POGO by bluetooth, and it will start printing.

Can I charge my kodak easyshare m530 through a laptop

Yes, assuming the computer's USB port puts out enough current to do so. Not all ports do, and you want to connect it directly, not through a hub.

Look in your camera settings and change the connection from USB to Pictbridge. If that's possible then you should be able to connect.

Why wont my sony camera work with the polafiod pogo printer

You can print images by connecting the Camera to a PictBridge compliant Printer only.

Please make sure that your Printer is PictBridge compliant.

If your Printer is a PictBridge Compliant, select the USB Connect option in the Camera to PictBridge and then, connect the Camera to the Computer.

The USB Connect option will be located under the Setup2 menu of the Camera.

How to connect the Polaroid Pogo to a computer

You can only connect the Pogo to a PC by using a Bluetooth wireless connection. Once a bluetooth connection is established between your PC and the PoGo you can print by simply using Explorer to send a JPEG file to the PoGo via Bluetooth (no printer driver needed).
