Universal remote I received the LG LFD790 from a friend of mine. The only problem is that it has no remote.  I have a Sony RM-V302 universal remote.  Can I program it to work with the LG system?  If not how can I get the volume to work.

You can try codes for LG that are under CD but dont know if that will work.

there is no sulution as far as codes are considered for blu rays. You have to do a manual learning mode for every button.you need to buy a learning remote this is where you point both remotes at each other and press each button to learn it. unfurtunately your sony remote does not have this funtion. i hope this clarifies your problem.

there's a good chance it's the receiver and not the remote. Just fixed mine this afternoon with help from this blog.
