If is is a CD player, DVD player, X-Box, Blu Ray Player, PS3 or VHS player, it will be a bad connection on the switch, an incorrectly adjusted limit switch, or a failed ejection motor.

the tray opening by itself could be a faulty limit switch on the tray mechanism

the switch tells the system if the tray has reached the open or closed position.

if it closes then opens itself then this is the most likely

It sounds like the open switch inside the door is dirty & cannot make a connection when the CD door opens. Clean the switch & it should function properly. Otherwise, replace that switch.

This is not an issue with the Walkman player. You can resolve this by sliding the HOLD switch located at the side panel of the Walkman Player (Model specific).
HOLD switch is used to protect the Player against accidental operation. By sliding the HOLD switch in the direction of the ">", all the buttons are disabled. If you slide the HOLD switch to the opposite direction, the HOLD function is released.

this problem is with close open switch.if open cover to insert cd you will find one very small switch which sences open or close.put a drop of cleaning oil in it press it 10 times or replace the switch

There is a switch located at the front of the player right under the DVD tray. This switch tells the player that the door is completely closed. If this switch does not operate, then the Ilo will re-open the DVD tray thinking that something is jammed. Might want to try replacing that switch

3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
4. Reconnect to mains
5. Turn on player with remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote.
5. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9.
7. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open)
8. Switch off power from remote, then switch back on.
9. Player is now Region Free.

yes, just right click on the type of files you want to open with wmp, click on 'open with' select windows media player and tick the box that says 'always open files of this type with the selected program' at the bottom, you will need to do this for music and video files.
