Orion STV2763 fails to power on after power failure

TV: ORION model STV2763 Problem is that after a power failure, the television will not power on. The power failure was not instant, but more of a brown-out to black-out. Any suggestions? I really need help! (I have had quite a bit of experience in electronic repair, so I am familiar with the lingo. ) Thank you so much.

Diodes seem OK using meter. Still need to get a schematic. Any ideas as to where to obtain one? Thanks.

yes.. please help asap with my 27" orion color TV. I have no power and no power from turning on the remote.This TV is not an old set.please help me...
Is this the end of my set?....barbadoll :0(

Assuming you have un plugged the set to re set shutdown circuit you might check all zener diode's around power supply pay attention to 9v supply these tend to open after power problems.

Orion TVD2710. Lost remote, can't change signal input

I would suggest you try to find a universal remote that has an "input" or "source" button and program that one to your tv. By pressing the "source" or "input" button, it will change the input to the tv. I hope this helps! -Der Strom

Is my Orion STV2763 digital or i believe they say does it have a atsc tuner?

I'm sorry. The STV2763 is not digital. If you use an antenna, you will need a converter box for this tv. I hope this information helps you.

The flyback transformer, and some other components may have failed. The main power supply may also be damaged.

It is impossible to know the exact failed parts without trouble shooting the set.
