Starting When i press on the start button it starts but nothing happens on screen the internet light on the pc have turned from blue to blue/white ish. Help?!

If you have Windows
Left-click START or the round blue Windows icon at bottom left of screen.
Or press the Windows key at bottom row of keyboard.
Left-click the white right-arrow symbol next to "Shut down".
This drops down a choice menu.
Left-click "Restart".
Now sit back and watch the magic happen.

Otherwise to shut down click the Shut down bar in Start window.

Or in case the PC freezes / hangs press "Power" button.

If an application hangs, stopping your computer, you can also try close down the app in "Task Manager".
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
Wait until the Task Manager options window pops up on screen.
Left-click "Start task Manager"
Left-click "Applications"
Shut down the app then exit TM.
Reboot to refresh memory.

It sounds like it's overheating, make sure the airways are clear of dust and listen for the sound of the fan inside, this could have failed..
if the processor overheats it automatically cuts out and what you describe is exactly that..

Since it sounds like an issue with the Power first try to release flea power.Disconnect the charger,remove battery,press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.Reconnect the battery and charger.Turn on system and check if it turns on. For further help please check Dell Inspiron 1525 Manual. Also confirm if the light on the charger stays on,when connected to the system.

Another suggestion is to take the power out, remove cables and battery then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then reinsert the cables and battery and turn on the pc. If the blue screen still appears, take note of the blue screen error and try to boot to safe mode with networking. If you have a recovery disc, boot it by pressing F12 repeatedly in startup to run the check disk. If did not work, then you have no choice but to reinstall the operating system...

the yellow or yellow and white wires have come apart under tank simply remove tank follow the wires from right hand switch block should be a black connection block and yellow and yellow and white wires are the old type bullet connectors check for corrosion green deposits reconnect wires yellow to yellow and yellow/white to yellow/white id use some electrical tape to insulate further also helps to stop them working loose again when handle bars are turned switch on the ignition b4 putting tank back on press start button it will start trust me lol

There are two processes that happen after you press the power button of the computer.

1. POST - that's when the computer checks all the hardware parts.
This happens after you press the power button.

2. BOOT - that's when the computer checks the software parts.
This happens when you see the windows XP screen with the loading bar.

****Here's the thing:
If you don't see anything when you turn on the computer, then it's a hardware problem. It's really a complicated problem and you need a technician for that.

my inspiron 530 giving me trouble. Blue light is on, but the computer goes no where. Try to start by shutting down and restarting but the start sound keeps coming fora long time and nothing happens. So to say having trouble starting and sometimes it shuts down but the blue light stays on. Sometimes I cann't even turn off the computer by pressing blue light - trouble trouble trouble

when started and on the blue screen hold the power button down shutting it off restart it and a black screen pops up go down to start in safemode with networking that should work

hi, if ur screen turns white, it could be any problem starting from ur LCD to motherboard or as u said a virus. to assist u in a right way i need to know what exactly is happening between that short duration between pressing the button and white screen. most importantly is anything else comming up on the screen before the white screen.
