How to turn my SP90 player on & off? Switch on side does not work.

Hi,Use the below instruction.

Flip the MP3 player's "Hold" switch to "Off" if the switch is on. Depending on the MP3 player you own, this switch is likely located at the side or top of the player. Once the switch is off, try to turn the player on.

Let the battery of the MP3 player die. A frozen MP3 player is technically still running, and thus the battery for that player is being drained. Wait until the battery is fully dead before moving to Step 3.

Charge the MP3 player using either a computer (that's turned on) or an electronic MP3 charger. Charging the player's battery may "jolt" the player out of its frozen state. Connect the player to the computer or charger via the player's USB cable. Charge the player for 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on.

Sync the player with the appropriate software program (for example, Windows Media Player) for the MP3 player. Connect the player to the computer as described in the previous step. Open the software program and click the "Sync" tab at the top or side of the program. If necessary, click "Start Sync" underneath the tab. The name of the player appears under the "Sync" tab if the player has synced successfully. Try turning the player on once it has synced with the program.

Press the small "Reset" button on the MP3 player. This hard reset shuts the player down completely. Use a pin, tack or thin nail to press down the very small "Reset" button on the side or back of the MP3 player to reset the player. Then, try to turn the player on.

Tips & Warnings

Take the player to an electronics store if none of the steps above unfreeze the player, as there is likely a serious problem with the MP3 player's hard drive.

Also take out the batteries, if holding the play button for like 5 minutes doesn't work.

When you are wireing switch are you hooking black wire on incoming side of switch then out going black wire on leaving side,with white wire wire nutted together in switch box. If not try it that way and it should work. Hope this helps you.Thanks

There are 2 set's of command switch's for the dvd player, a 3 position command switch on the back side of the dvd player and another 3 position command switch on the inside of the remote right next to the batteries, easiest option is to remove batteries from remote and test each one of the 3 position switch's labeled 1,2 & 3 and test remote control.

The tray position switch is disconnected or bent from disassembly. I expect one plug wire is off when you put the unit back. The tray switch is mounted so the tray strikes the switch when fully in and fully out.

1. See if you have a power switch on the side of your MP3 player. If your power switch is on the side, slide the switch up to put it in "Play" mode. To turn the player off, slide the switch up and hold for several seconds. If your power switch is not on the side, proceed with step 2.
2. Look at the top of the Coby MP3 player. Many Coby players that support video have their power switch on the top. Some are in the shape of a bar, and some have a small round button. If you have a bar switch, slide the bar to the right to turn the power on. If you have a round power button on the top of the player, press and hold the button until the player turns on.

there is a "lock" button on the top on the left side make sure this switch is turned to off.
Try one or more of these solutions to resolve this problem:

• The Zune may be locked. Move the hold switch to the unlocked position. It may help to move the switch back and forth. Then press the play/pause button for a second.
• The battery may be drained.try recharging it
• To reset your Zune, press and hold the back button while pressing up on the Zune pad. Resetting turns Zune off and on again.
  

Switch your blue wires around.

You have put the remote antenna wire to the remote turn on of the amplifier. The radio cuts off the power to the "power antenna" when you switch to a different mode... so your amplifier is now losing the turn on signal it requires to stay on.

Simple 2 minute fix.

Use a needle or fine wire in the reset slot on the left side of the machine (beneath on switch.

Turn the player on whilst holding down the 'play button'. This should let you rebuild the library.

I have the GPX MW3847 and I couldn't get it to work at first. I finally figured out that the switch on the side needs to be set to off before you try to press the play button down. This sounds weird I know but it worked for me. Before I did this it kept saying "bye" and turning right back off.
