Bad laser diode unit. It must be replaced and aligned.

Typically gray prints are a symptom of worn out PCUs or old developer. Typically fixed by replacing the drum unit. If it is gray copies but good print quality it is an optics issue.

1st Laser synchronization error signal error. The 1st Laser that turns on inside of the printer can't synchronize properly to print out documents which is why this message comes up and nothing is printing. Probably is going to need to be replaced but a qualified service tech is going to need to look at it further.
