CAN I GET FREE PC DRIVERS UPDATES

Open the Control Panel and set your OS for automatic updating; or go to MS.com updates to check for updates for your computer.

Some are but many aren't. Best bet is to use a trusted application such as Powersuite of McAfee - both have comprehensive PC driver update features. You can also go to the Acer website - support section for the basic driver updates for your computer.

It's already built into the computer unless you deleted it. HP Health check and windows automatic updates need to be turned on.

sp2 ( service pack 2, available free on microsoft website ) contains a bundle of updates for xp including driver updates.

Go to a PC Repiar store, they always keep the updates on their server, ask them to let you have a disk whit the updates.
In my town i can get it for free if i bring a empty disk to them, otherwise the charge me the disk. The updates its free, so dont let them charge you for that!

Or, set up you Server and Pcs to download every day:

Start -> Setup -> Control panel -> Auto Update -> choose what you need.

I would not advice to setup the pcs to download updates from the Server (if thats what you would do), - today’s network easy manage that during the night.
