Just got a brand new Nescafe Dolce Gusto Piccolo. Going through the set-up and no water will come out. The machine comes on and appears to be heating, but no water comes out. Any suggestions?

If you're getting a "no water" error message then you need to "prime" the machine by either:

1. Fulling the tank with water and leave it in the machine for 2 hours at least.
2. Re-seat the water tank about 70-80 times to get the bubbles out and the water flowing.

what do you mean by "Re-seating" the water tank ?

  • Chigg Apr 08, 2015

Re-seating the water tank is when you take it out (as if to fill it) and then put it back.

Thank you so much for your tip! Re-seating the tank many times (about 50) solved the problem! I thought I should take the machine to service...

    What does re seating mean?

  • Anonymous Jul 20, 2017

The water container has a spring that is pushed up to let the flow of water through. Take the container over the kitchen sink and using a blunt instrument prod it up and the water flows out. Place it back in the coffee machine and it should work. I just figured it out.

My nescafe dolce gusto mini me is leaking milk from the bottom so some milk is going into the cup and the rest on the worktop. Any ideas?

If your Nescafe Dolce Gusto Mini Me is leaking milk from the bottom, there may be a few possible causes:
  1. Check the milk capsule: Make sure that the milk capsule is inserted properly and is not damaged. If the capsule is damaged, it may cause leakage.
  2. Check the milk frother: If the milk frother is clogged or not working properly, it may cause the milk to leak from the bottom. Try cleaning the frother and see if the problem persists.
  3. Check the machine: Check the machine for any cracks or damages that may cause the milk to leak. Also, make sure that the water tank and drip tray are properly in place.
  4. Contact customer support: If none of the above solutions work, contact the Nescafe Dolce Gusto customer support for assistance.
In any case, make sure to clean up any spilled milk thoroughly to avoid any safety hazards.

My Dolce and Gusto Piccolo isn't drawing water

Have you used the pin to clean the needle? It is located behind the water container. It may also then need a coffee machine cleaner to be run through it. Don't use cleaners for dishwashers or washing machines, as these don't look after the internal seals so we'll.

Green light will not come on. red light continues flashing

I have experience in Dolce Gusto melody 3. I think that means that the machine warms up the heater. If it continues giving red flasher, i expect that no electricity reaches to the heater or there is something wrong with the heater sensor. In my machine there is Triac (BTB08-600CW) that drives the heater. Please check and show us what is happen.
