I owned a Whirlpool Duet and had spin/balance problems when I washed heavy and light items together. During a deep freeze my drain hose froze. Did everything I could think of until I ran hot water through washer. It took awhile to thaw. If your floor is weak, you will have a lot of vibration and walking. Hope this helps.

Whirlpool duet washer spins very slow even on high spin

It could be that the load is not balanced or a kinked hose for the washing machine or the drive belt could be broken. A person that repairs washing machines would need to take a look at our washing machine.

I have a whirlpool Duet front load washer that when going into the spin cycle it starts will start spinning but never goes into the fast spin to drain all the water from the wash. Clothes still wet

Hi Paul, first piece of advice is to make sure the loads of laundry are consistent. A pair of jeans or a bath towel in a load of lighter clothes can cause an off balance condition, causing the machine to constantly try to re balance the load and never reaching high speed spin. Other than that, make sure your spin speed option is set to high. If those don't solve the issue, contact a local repair company to come out and take a look. Hope that helps.

Will not spin

These front loaders are have sensores for load balance.. If th load is uneven at the time of spin - it will not spin.. Try it with nothing in it.. If it spins - that was the issue..

Good luck ;o)

Washer leaking from bottom

Take the front panel off of the washer, and run it through a cycle. Watch to see where the leak is coming from. Also, pay attention to the drain in the wall when it is in spin/drain. If this has a blockage in it, it might be backing up causing water to come back out of it.

If you see no leaks the next time you run it, it's possible that it splashed over while spinning because of the off balance load and may not happen again unless it becomes off balance again.
