SOURCE: kODAK eASYSHARE c530 BLACK SCREEN DOES NOT TAKE PICTURE

You may still be able to take pictures with your black screened Kodak camera. This problem occurs in the line of Kodak EasyShare digital camera models.

When you turn on your Kodak EasyShare digital camera, turn off the LiveView function. Take a picture using the small-windowed viewfinder (this is not the LCD screen). Also, try zooming in and out.

After taking a picture, review the picture to see if the picture has been taken. Then turn on LiveView and occasionally the LCD screen should no longer be showing a black screen.

SOURCE: Kodak EasyShare C653 Camera, cannot connect to my macbook

Try a dig. USB plug,
Try a dif. cable.
Try with a cardreader.

If your cable is faulty it is covered under the same 1 year warranty as the cam.

SOURCE: How do i transfer my photos onto my computer once

Close the application Kodak software in your PC; while, kee connected the camera with the USB cable and turn ON, then EXPLORE devices or Disk Devices, the PC must read you Memory Card as one additional Disk Device (as USB), just select the images in your camera "memory card" and copy/paste to the PC's Hard Disk.

I hope this helps to solve it (remenber to rate and comment this).

Free software download kodak m552

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo management program such as the free Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Are you sure it's not just shutting off the screen to conserve power? Try taking a new picture by pressing the shutter button half-way....does the camera come back to life?

My Sony DSC S40 Digital Camera is giving problem. I purchased the camera on Sept 2005. Lately i am getting format error. Whenever I click photos I am not able to get my half of the photos. When I try to...

When you disconnect from the computer, do you use the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right of your screen or do you just yank out the cord? When you yank, most of the time you will corrupt the card and even the camera. You can try to download your pics from the card using a separate card reader or take it to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk and print your pics or even make a cd of them. Then, Check your owner's manual to learn how to reset the camera. After that, format the card in the camera.
