The tablet turns on but seems frozen and shows the android screen and nothing else. Tried to reset it but it does the same thing

    hi ,i have an android tablet OS 2.2 Kernel 2.6.32 V1.5.1. I have hardly used it.When i switch on the power, android symbol comes but instead of booting ith android rises uo and starts rotating. nothing else happens after this.what may be the problem?also where do i locate sd card if i open the table?.how can i rese?can someone help?

I HAVE DONE SEVERAL OF ANDROID TABS WITH SAME PROBLEM YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE TAB UP LOOK ON THE BOARD FOR THE MICRO SD CARD TAKE IT OUT FORMATT IT ON PC THEN REPLACE THE SOFTWARE PUT BACK IN THE TAB HEY PRESTO IT WORKS EMAIL ME FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS

You can try a factory reset on the tablet. Hold the volume down button and press the power button. This should bring up a system menu that should have an option to perform a factory reset on the tablet.

How do i get it off the android screen so it will show the lock screen?
Sounds like its borked.
Have you pressed the reset button on the back - pinhole - press it with a pin its a long shot.

The real fix is to go into recovery mode using the power button volume up combo. Then select the restore tablet option.

If none of that works you will have to sideload or reinstall using an sdcard a replacement OS - Try cyanogenmod - your tablet will have to be rooted and have the cm bootloader installed however - tablets are not easy things to repair when the software goes belly up.

Sounds like the "frozen screen" issue. Hold the on/off button of the tablet well also pressing the Volume+. This should FIX it and unfreeze the screen.

Octavo zeus tablet will start but just has android sign on the screen - how do I re-set it ? I have put a pin in the reset hole but this just powers it down again
My tablet wont even start at all. It just shows up the android picture on and on for the whole day until its flat. I need help to fix this problem. Try resetting it. In some units there is a reset button at the back.It is in a very tiny hole and you need a pin to reset it. Hope it helps.
