( 1) You have a problem with a motor faulty.or main motor faulty or transformer.

2) The test that you did is good.

3) That means that motor is possible in short circuit.
4) Since the breaker is triiped that means the motor is consuming more ampere that normal, that indicate some possibles troubles inside the motor: a) Winding Short+ ground(carcase). You mus repair the motor or buy a new one.
5) One more thing you must to test the Main Motor controller board, that controll the Main Motor, possible Faulty.

Attached the block diagram for better ilustration that I did and you can use for better understanding.

Attached to my Tip about how to measure the motor:

PRECOR C956 power switch wont stay on

The power switch on Precor treads is also a circuit breaker. If it trips when plugged in, you have a dead short in the machine.

Precor 9,31 treadmill tripping internal breaker

You may want to check how many outlets or other items that you have on the breaker. When those treadmills go faster, they draw a lot of amperage. Not much that you can do except for unplugging what you aren't using on that circuit until you are done. If you run an extension cord to another circuit, that draws even more amperage or hire an electrician to install a larger breaker for you.

Trips Circuit

worn running belt and deck. You can try to clean the belt a bit using a clean towel and running it under the belt and stand on both ends. turn the tread on and let it run for a minute or so at 2mph. hit stop and pull the towel out. make sure the tread doesn't share a circuit with the fridge or a freezer, etc. As they wear the amp draw gets greater and if its sharing the circuit it will trip more and more.
Understand, please, that every time it shuts off it is because of heat in the electronics from the extra work it is doing to push/pull that running belt over an increasingly sticky surface. The cost of reoplacing a deck and belt (the deck may be two sided and be flipped) is a lot less than eating the lower power control board and/or a drive motor. Also, do the drive belt while you are doing the run belt. Don't scrimp on that $40 as it will haunt you later.

Precor 905e turns off after i run at 10 mph for about a minute

When a running belt has excessive wear, it creates a lot of friction which causes the drive motor to work harder. When the drive motor works harder it will start overheating. If the belt is not lubricated periodically, it will ruin the deck, the drive motor, and cause other electrical problems such as tripping the breaker [after a while, the circuit breaker on the treadmill will need to be replaced.
It is suggested to lubricate the belt every month. At this point, you may need to replace both your deck and your running belt.

Precor c954i error 16

Precor Error 16, AC Input Voltage Too Low Probable Cause 1. AC input voltage is incorrect.
2. Treadmill operating on undersized AC wiring and/or is drawing high current.
Corrective Action
  1. Verify AC feed into the building's circuit breaker is correct and connected to the proper transformer tap.
  2. The AC wiring must be sized to handle 20 amps of current over the loop length of the AC wiring. Voltage drop across the AC input wiring is a result of the length of the wire run multiplied by the amount of current being demanded by the treadmill. The longer the run and the higher the current the large the wire must be.Verify the unit is connected to an isolated and dedicated 20 amp circuit.

Circuit breaker trips

Check for excessive wear on deck and running belt. Friction from the worn deck/belt causes the motor to worker harder, pulling more power.

Breaker installed on generator. Keeps tripping under no load after approx. 1 minute of generator running

A tripping circuit breaker is an indication of an overload. You say there is no load on the breaker - how are you making this determination? Are you using an amprobe or some other meter?

A circuit breaker with NO load shouldn't ever trip. Likewise a circuit breaker carrying up to 80% of of the current it is rated for shouldn't trip either. Circuit breakers that carry more than 80% of their load will trip - if the load remains connected long enough. This is called "duty factor" or "service factor" The greater the load is in excess of 80%, the less time that the breaker will carry it before tripping.

An example of a 100 amp breaker with different loads on it (this 100 amp value was chosen for ease of doing the math):

80 amps - never trips
85 amps - trips after 48 hours
90 amps - trips after 16 hours
95 amps - trips after 8 hours
100 amps - trips after 4 hours
105 amps - trips after a few minutes
120 amps - trips after a few seconds
150 amps - trips instantly

This is only an example to show how a certain circuit breaker might trip under a load less than the rating stamped on the body or handle.

A circuit breaker that trips with no load or a load equal to or less than 80% of its rating is most likely defective. You need an amprobe or ammeter for amp readings. If the load is found to be 80% or less, there may be an issue of harmonics that is causing the tripping. You'll need to have special equipment and qualified persons to check harmonic problems. Most harmonic problems occur when the loads are not linear device (transformers). Examples of non-linear devices are "switching" (or solid state) power supplies like those in computers.

I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply. Thank you.

Check your Amps on the circuit that is being tripped. The treadmill needs 15 Amps to run. If you have a 15 Amp circuit that is running the treadmill and other electronics (or lights), the circuit will trip. You may need to replace the circuit with more Amps.

It has an error 15 that keeps poping up

Precor Error 15, AC Input Voltage Too High Probable Cause 1. AC input voltage is incorrect.
2. AC input voltage transients. Transients can be caused by lightning strikes or by other pieces of equipment sharing the unit's AC power.
Corrective Action
  1. Verify AC feed into the building's circuit breaker is correct and connected to the proper transformer tap.
  2. Ensure the AC grounding for the unit's outlet is good and verify the unit is connected to an isolated and dedicated 20 amp circuit.
