There should be a setting in the phone set up menu where one can select permanent normal or hands-free. In other words deselect hands-free! Also remember this may not be called hands-free on all phones, so look out for similar meaning settings/selections.

no Bluetooth my friend I bet needs a update on the stereo...manufacturer only can do this via diagnostics. what happens is your phone is running 2.3 Bluetooth and your car prob running 1.2 which obviously causes mismatch or no connect at all...

I have the same problem with my hands free phone car kit.

e51 does not work with parrot ck3100

The code is nearly always 0000, but if that doesn't work try 1234.

Same thing happened to mine.  I took the end of an unfolded paper clip and messed with the hands-free port right next to the ac power plug-in.  Poked around the metal part in there, moved it up and down.  Did it with the phone on, and pretty soon it beeped and told me that hands-free mode was off.    

went though the samething and went though four hands free sets and the fifth one fine worked so check the hands free device

he should change the hand free port if it is not connected to the charging port but if it is connected with the charging port he should change the charging port and the problem will be solved that's my solution.
