Infoglobe cid not displaying

  • Anonymous Dec 21, 2011

We have a Infoglobe OL3000.2 that stopped working after a storm. We determined that the adaptor blew up and replaced that. Now, everything (date/time/messages, etc.) works great again EXCEPT for it no longer displays incoming calls. Does anyone know what I can do to get the CID to work again? Thanks in advance!

Only the top half of the text is displaying.

If you can afford to , reset your phone. Otherwise, your display might have an error

Wont display caller id

A Panasonic phone needs 3 things to display CID, CID service, programming, and a ringing phone.
When you are on an outside line, does the CID display? If it does, then you just need to program the phone to ring. If it doesn't, start looking for hardware and programming. The card required ends in 93.

How do you activate call display on the Norstar M7310 phone system. email me a [email protected] Thanks you

CID call display requires 3 items, CID service from the telco,CID trunk cards, and maybe a software upgrade. If you program it and it doesn't work, then you need a CID trunk. If your software is in the neighborhood of 4, then you may need to upgrade to get a display on all phones when the phone rings.

Can't set time and date

Press select key once. CID List shows on globe. Then press dow key to start menu, the first of which is date and time. You can take it from there.

Caller ID Display

This one could have different variables.
  1. your CO lines must have CID
  2. your CO card in the system must have CID capability
  3. older systems have a limited number of extensions that can display CID (16)
  4. your ext must be set to ring.

Olympia infoglobe

Funny that I came across this. I just now fixed this exact problem. This unit had failed after an electrical storm. Solution found elsewhere suggested removing the batteries and unplugging the A/C adapter for 10 minutes. (I waited 30). Reinstall batteries and reattach A/C adapter. Buttons worked to get to the erase memory option, which I did. Infoglobe is now functioning properly. This is also the instructions for clearing the "eeprom error" readout that many infoglobes exhibit after a power surge. Good Luck!

Olympia, and/or Sharper Image infoglobe. Need fix.

It appears that you have already removed the 4 screws. The globe will not just fall off, it has to be pried. Take a small- bladed screwdriver or a small-bladed pocket knife and gently pry from any small opening you see between the globe and its base. Work the blade around the globe and it will come off. I just did it and now I'm trying to figure out how to get inside the "guts" of the globe. Will keep you advised.
