SOURCE: kodak camera dropped lens cockeyed stuck open

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

SOURCE: Kodak Easyshare camera turns on and off

Yes you are. My wife denied that she dropped in the sand but I found a list of photos that she wanted to print on a post-it paper in the cover and it had sand all over the sticky part. Used the pressure air spray to clean the rings and it is back to life. Well It worked but there was some problem during zoom in&out, so I spray the rings while zooming and out and that cleaned it. I hope I don't have to open it to clean the mechanism. Thank you.

SOURCE: kodak digital camera V705 -error 45

Hi!
E45 means that a focus error occurred or the MCU BOARD malfunctioned. I'm afraid you will have to give it away for a repair. It's a hardware problem. You should contact your local Kodak service center.

Kodak easyshare 1550 card reader trouble.

Not sure what skill you have, but I would try to use some air from a tin called duster (air under pressure for electronic equipment) and blow into the memory slot. I also would check with a little flash light if something is in the memory slot, something like a little piece of paper.
When looking into the card slot, you should be able to see a little golden switch on the site the lock notch of the memory card is.
If you tried duster and it can't blow it out what is sitting in the slot, use a plastic tooth picker (no wooden, because it could leave little parts in there and the cure would be worse than the illness, and try to get the debris out.
Please if you do not have technical skills, don't start, because the inside of a camera is very delicate. You easy can damage the inside bend repair.

How do you turn up the volume on a kodak eaay share C182 camera

The C182 records audio but does not play it back. To hear your videos, first transfer them to your computer and play them back there.

Kodak M1033 Videos volume is very very low when I playback on my camera. When I playback the files on my PC there is absolutely no volume at all.

You might be blocking the microphone when recording.
Unfortunantly there is no volume adjustment button on the model.
