Need help dynex security sync wireless

Make it secure.
Log on to the router and set your security to WGA2.
If unsure how to do this, google your model and setup for a guide

Please reset the Router to restore it to factory settings. Please locate a small pin point whole, reset button near the Ethernet ports of the Router and press it for 10 seconds. Once you reset the Router, please login to the Router and change the Router login password under Administration tab.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to secure the Wireless Network.

• Please open the Web browser, type 192.168.2.1 and press enter.
• Please enter the User Name "admin" and leave the password blank.
  
• Please click on Wireless section and click Security.
• Now, you can pickup any of the Wireless Security like WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc.
• Select the Wireless Security encryption type and save the settings.
• The Wireless is secured now.

You should have one plug that is marked WAN - this connects to your modem with a standard Ethernet cable. If you cannot read the labels, it will be the plug, slightly removed from the other four plugs.

You need to connect the power adapter to a power strip to avoid unnecessary power entering your network and to protect the router.

You should be able to start the router without a PC attached. Just look for Dynex being broadcast wirelessly. Your network is not secure wirelessly until you add a password to the network.

See if you can get to fixya.com from your laptop. If so, things are going pretty well. You now want to add security to the wireless network.

Access the admin page via it's IP address (by default 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) under wireless security/ security you should see there an option to set WEP or WPA and the likes... you just have to enable it and type in your preferred key and make sure to save the settings

Try typing your IP address into your browser (Internet Explorer)

Unplug the router for ten seconds and plug it back in, it needs to reset. Some routers have a reset button. I often wait longer than ten seconds, I find a beer is usually the right amount of time. Sometimes the modem needs a reset also; unplug everything, then plug back in sequence, with the modem first, the wait, then the router, wait, then turn on your computer. That system works for any brand modem and router.

first you need to find the default gateway of the router,u need to do this settings in the computer which is wired to the router,securing the network over a wireless connections is not suggested..
click on start,run,and type in cmd,hit enter,a black box should appear in that box type in ipconfig and hit enter,once you hit enter it will give u a lot of results check the default gateway(default gateway should look like this 192.168.2.1)now open an internet explorer page and remove the website name that present in the addess box,now without http or www type in the numbers,it will tell you to put in the user name and password,username is blank and password is admin (this is generic to all the microsoft routers provided you have not changed it earlier,if u ave changed it then put in the user name and password that you have setup,now it should open a microsoft router page,in that page you will see an option which says wireless click on wireless and then under wirless you will have the wireless security,now you need to enable the security adn choose the type of secuirty type and save the settings once you do that you wireless connection should be setup with a security code...
PS:when you make your wireless network secured make sure that the computer is connected wired to the rotuer..

You'll need to login to the router and reset the wireless key.

You are losing your internet connection because of interference with the wireless router and cordless phone. Try either switching the channel on your router or on your phone. That should fix your problem.
