Bought for in February, now it's not power on.. I got brand new battery, but it's not power on. I tried the battery for a friend with same camera and his works fine so it's not the battery. It has to be the camera. Does anyone know the problem? Please provide me the solution if you know what cost it. I lost the receipt so it's not possible for me to send it back to Kodak. Thanks in advance.
OK, I had a similar issue with a M1033. It would power on then shut down right away. I turned it on and held the power button down. It stayed on as long as I held the power button down. So, while holding the power button down, I went into the camera menu system and chose the "Reset Camera" option. It appeared to do a hard reset and the camera has worked ever since. Hope this helps.

Mine the power never come on..
I have the same issue, it will not turn on, the blue light on top comes on for 2 sec. and then goes off. I also bought new batteries, and it does not help. The thing is I recieved this for a Christmas present Dec. 07, but it was bought by the person in mid October, two days after 1 year warranty goes out, the camera quits working. So Kodak will not replace!! Very upset!
