Vx37l stopped working with FiOS remote

My Vizion VX37L abruptly stopped responding to my FiOS remote while I was adjusting the volume. I have tried two different remotes, neither will adjust the volume or turn off the TV.
Oddly the actual TV remote does work.

The two FiOS remotes work perfectly on two other TVs.

HELP?

Thanks
Bert

Ours is very similar. We have received fios over a month ago and all of our remotes (including the original) have stopped responding to volume/power/input commands. If it does respond, it'll repeat it like crazy so I have to enjoy the sound either at 0 or 100. Even the buttons on the TV have stopped responding.

Sorry I mean U-Verse not FiOS

I have tried 2 additional universal remotes, a sony and logitech and neither of them work the TV but they work every other electronic device in the house, including two stereos and a home theater sound system.

This is really annoying, Has anyone had any luck finding a solution?

    Thanks

Blazerguy thanks for the input. While you have listed the correct codes, in my case they are not an appropriate solution. My remotes was working then stopped in the middle of a program I was watching.

Okay so here's the FiOS solution. For some reason, the established Vizio codes no longer work on the FiOS boxes. I did the manual search feature for the remote and was able to restore functionality. Unfortunately, i don't know which code it is using, but at this point i don't care because it is working.

The good news is it finds the right code within the first 10 to 15 seeks.

    Good luck.

I have two FIOS STBs in my home and two remotes (the black remote with the green ok button). Both remotes still work with one of my STBs but no longer work on the other one. Everything worked fine one day and the next it didn't. Very odd indeed.

I read in another forum where Vizio sometimes uses Vidtech codes. I got 0205 to work on my new Vizio V037L with my Verizon FiOS remote (Phillips RC144).

I have Verizon FIOS using a Philips rc1445302 (for Verizon need to look in battery compartment) remote. My TV is an older Vizio VX37L. The listed remote codes for Vizio did not work (0891, 0912, 1783). However, 0205 worked fine.

Vizio light is on on the front of tv, but when you turn it on it says no signal and turns off. VX37L

Your TV may be in RGB mode. Immediately after turning your TV on, press the TV button on the 'input' section of the remote. Hopefully that works for you. Your TV is designed to turn itself of in RGB (monitor) mode if no signal is present.
