Mitsubishi WD-60638 firmware

Make sure software was in top menu in USB stick. Not ib a folder. Try reset buttons on front of TV. Could be bad e2p module. (boot firmware.)

My Mitsubisha WD 65838 dlp TV has a high pitch squeal coming from the back of the set.

These HD TV sets are 100 times easier to fix when they actually still (mostly) work.
Instead of waiting for the screaming component to fry and die, execute your warranty service, if
you have your original warranty info - or return it to the point of sale, if your TV was
purchased within the retailer's return period.
The squealers are almost always something in the power supply, or the audio circuitry , FYI.

You and a thousand other people wonder the same thing... First time mine went out, they replaced mother board. Next time I had to reprogram with a flash drive. This time they dont have a clue... I have had this tv since Nov 25 2009
