Hey Kenneth, I understand that you are receiving an "F11" error message on your Frigidaire Electric Range. Before considering contacting a service provider, I would recommend resetting the range by turning off the power to the appliance for about five minutes. After the five minutes return power to the appliance, this should allow the appliance to return to working condition. At this time if you find the problem still persists, you may want to consider contacting a professional technician. The concern could be the control board. Hope this helps! -JK
Good afternoon friend, I appreciate your post!
I see you are having trouble with the self-cleaning feature on your Frigidaire range and you are receiving error code "PYR". However, it appears "PYR" is an invalid error code. May I have you model number please? Typically you can locate your serial tag on the storage drawer on the right hand side. With this information I can better assist you with pinpointing the issue.
In the meantime, let's attempt resetting your range. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position for roughly ten minutes. This usually clears false error codes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your rangecontinues to display "PYR"? I look forward to your reply. -Matt
I understand that your Frigidaire wall oven is beeping and showing an F11 error code. Typically an F11 error code states that there is a shorted key, or a button has been detected as pressed for a long time. I suggest hard resetting your appliance, by cutting the power at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. While you are resetting your oven, make sure to wipe down the control panel. The panel is very sensitive and could be detecting something that has splashed or spilled onto it, even dust. When you bring power back to your appliance you will need to start by setting the clock. Turn your oven on any cycle at any temperature. If you are still receiving an F11 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.
Hi Ken Kazemi - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.
Unfortunately, an F11 error indicates a short at the keypad. Try unplugging the oven and waiting a minute before restoring the power. If that resets the error, great.
Otherwise, you need to replace parts. Please add a comment with the model number for specific information. Most likely, you need to replace the electronic control unit (clock). However, this error can be a sign of a damaged wiring harness or the secondary control panel in the oven.
If the oven door is locked, you may be able to temporarily unlock it by accessing the switch controlled by the door lock motor. You will need to unplug the oven and pull it out. Then take off the back panel to reach the switch.
I hope this helps. Again please add a comment with the oven model for more assistance.
Hello steve o - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Error Code E90 typically means that you have a faulty motor door latch, lock motor assembly, door light switch or a defective EOC. You would need this to be diagnosed by a professional technician in order to properly repair the wall oven.
F7-E1 - Common Switch Wire Is Defective - This error occurs when common wire to latch switch and door switch is shorted. Check all connections at control board and at the latch switch and door switch. If connections are ok, then check individual switches as outlined for the F5 error code.
