I lost the installation cd for my YP-K3 mp3 player... what to do?!!

I have windows vista. I dont know if my YP-K3 mp3 player is compatable with it. I lost my installation cd so when I plug in the usb cable and connect the player to it, it installed something and it charges. But the Samsung YP K3 media studio wont download because I cant find the cd, but player still charges. WHAT CAN I DO!!!???

    My samsung was working without the disk so i thought it was ok, but my brother uninstalled it and i cant put anything on it anymore!:(

    I have vista too, and I'm tired of using the xp-PC of my elder sister to load my mp3 files with samsung media studio 5 onto my mp3-player. this damn fckd samsung studio is not going to install on vista. what to do??????????

    I have the YP-K3 mp3 and I lost the installation cd. I got my computer rebooted, so i think the software got delated. Now my mp3 player does not turn on and doesn't charge with the Samsung Media Studio.

How to make computer identify your device
I had a problem with my YP-K3 when i lost the installation cd as my computer no longer identified the device when i plugged it in, to solve this (on windows XP) go to
1: control panel
2:add hardware
3:connect your hardware device and click "yes i have connected the hardware"
4:scroll down and select install new hardware device
5:select install hardware that i manually select from a list
6:scroll down to windows portable devices
7:and choose MTP device
this should make it so your mp3 player is now recognised by the computer

Enter that site and choose your mp3, I chose K3JAB because that's the one I have. The press 'software' download the Samsung Media Studio!

This is a cable for your MP3 player. it costs £12.99, about 26 Dollars. You dont need the installation CD.
Just connect the player to a computer, windows and windows media player recognises the device and allows you to drag and drop tracks on to it.

Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player requires driver but I have no cd!!
I've had this problem. Windows media player doesn't seem to find it, and I couldn't figure out which file I needed from the site. I have xp, but I'm assuming this might also work for vista. Go to Control Panel. Open System. Click the Hardware tab. Click the Device manager button. Find the yellow question mark labled Samsung YP-K3 and doubble click it. This should open a window that will let you (re)install the driver, which it will find for you after having you set up a few simple options. Hope this helps.
