Unlock i cant unlock the phone i forgot the password is there a password or way that i can reset it without going to the store

I had the same problem with my galaxy j7, I forgot the login password to get in to my phone. I tried a hard factory reset to manufacture settings. I had contacts and photos backed up with google account, so it was okay to erase and reset the phone. The login password was gone and the phone started like i had just bought it, but then I ran into another problem. My google user account was still logged in when I reset the phone. Androids and googles Factory Reset Protection was activated and a message said "an unauthorized attempt to factory reset was detected, please login with the original user email and password". I forgot the screensaver password and google account password I was still locked out of my phone. Two options I had then was the local phone repair store (boost mobile was going to charge 40$ to unlock my phone) recommended to try this first. The other option was to reset google account password and login to email from another computer for password verification and wait googles 72 hour FRP lockout to use new password to login. You will have to bring it to an apple store and have them reset it.

If you really forgot your password, try writing down all passwords you used last year, and try them one by one. If you can't find it, nobody can.
If you can't get in a phone because you forgot your password, the only way in, is to reset the phone and setting up the phone from scratch. You will lose all data, like contact lists, notes, images, and all apps, you did not backup on a computer or in the cloud.
Setting up a password protection on a smart phone, was to prevent anyone without password to be able to access your data. Now you forgot the password, you are excluded to the information too.
If there was a general code to unlock every password, that would make the security a farce and worth nothing.

Your phone needs to be fix by a tech to reset the phone. I suggest go to the nearest phone technician to have it fix.

1. go to t-mobile store they will send your behold to the manufacturer and then 'll send u back new one
2. go to cellphone repair shop they will unlock for ~30 bucks
3. buy software on ebay and unlock by yourself

If you forgot your password the only way to reset it without lossing all of your data is to go into one of your phone carrier's stores. They can help to fix it.

If you can enter *2767*3855# without the simcard then that's the way to unlock and reset it but it will delete all information stored on the phone. Unfortunately, if you won't be able to enter the strings of command completely, then there's no other way to unlock it but to send the phone for repair to Samsung service center.
