SOURCE: hi..

see heres the thing when using VM-Ware, VM-Ware doesnt use drivers for your physical hardware, because it emulates the hardware that is seen in the hardware information of your system preferences.

So installing even drivers for the "emulated" hardware will not work, as VM-Ware uses its own drivers for the hardware, which are included with the VM-Ware Tools, if that doesnt seem to work, you may want to contact VM-Ware support, as they may have a better solutiuon.

Hello here is the homepage:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P4SP-MX&p=1&s=15

Please select your windows system.

Open the bios folder, and click on global for download.

The file has to be unziped.

You also need the asus update utility:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/ASUS-Update-Utility.shtml

With this you can update the bios, while windows is running
You just have to select the bios file, you have downloaded.

But you have to setup the bios, when the job is done.

Good luck

Go to the web site of what ever PC you have ( Dell, HP or what ever the PC is ). At the web site you should find section that says drivers and support, or something like that. It will have you select your make and model. You should find the correct drivers there.

Hope this helps.

I have an HP Pavilion 752n Win XP SP3 with ASUSTeK Computer INC. P4G-LA REV 1.xx motherboard. I am currently running 1.2 GB of memory. I would like to replace the 256MB memory card with another 1GB memory...

The motherboard can support 1GB of memory, Window XP can manage up to 2GB fairly good maybe more with other setting applied. I would recommend using two 512 memory chips to fill the slots to prevent any memory conflict issues.

Sounds like either a bad stick of memory or a bad dimm slot . Have you tried the memory on another motherboard ?
